Julia graduated from the Nova Scotia Board of Dispensing Opticians course in 1983. She has been part of the optical industry for most of her life, as her father was a dispensing optician for over 30 years. She says that; "its hard to believe that I have been practicing for over 25 years..they say time flies when you are having fun and I do enjoy the optical industry".

Julia has always taken an honest and sincere approach with clients and feels rewarded when they walk out into the world looking and feeling great with their new fashion eyewear.

Julia is currently an Examiner on the Nova Scotia Examining Committee for the NS Board of Dispensing Opticians and has previously served on the NS Society of Dispensing Opticians.
